Burra Anzac Sports Revival Draws Small Crowd
Burra Anzac Sub-Branch revived its sports meeting after years with a smooth program despite weak entries. Cycling races drew thirteen riders amid advertising gaps, while horse racing and sprint events attracted modest crowds. Officials praised the track and noted wartime backlogs, with Dean Toseland winning the main cycle race and promises of brighter future meetings.
