The White County Better Farming Association met in Monticello with a corn show. Rain and sickness reduced attendance while exhibitors posted high quality prizes. Judge C. E. Trover presided as awards went to Frank Watson Norway and W C Reinnecke Buffalo for yellow corn and to W C Reinnecke, Wm Fauber and E J Russow for white corn. School pupils also earned top prizes with Reed Coble and Dorcas Butterball among the winners.
