Rev. Roy Mischler 32, Deer Creek Brethren Church, died after his car was struck by a freight train at the Vandalia crossing in Camden. He was en route to aid a farmer with fodder shredding when the accident occurred. The car demolished, his body caught on the engine pilot and dragged about thirty car lengths. Survived by a wife and seven year old son. Funeral held Friday at Lower Deer Creek Brethren Church. interment at Roann.
