Collision Between the Canada and Ocean at Sea
Boston, Nov 25 The Canada reached her dock this morning mails forwarded to New York. The Ocean, a side wheel steamer of 600 to 700 tons, collided last night near the lower lighthouse, her bow pried in and stores on fire. Passengers leaped overboard. several rescued by the Canada, Forest City, Boston, and Westway boats. Five passengers remain in hospital with severe injuries. Mrs Holmes aboard the Ocean is missing. Cause of disaster unknown.
