Two Show Decision Backed by Balingup Society
A special Balingup Agricultural Society meeting endorsed a two show plan by a 3 to 1 vote after debate over governance and finances. President Allnutt resigned then resumed chairmanship amid unanimous support for the committee. The next meeting is July 3 to prep for Bunbury conference and the spring show date is set for November 27.

Greenbushes Traders Meet Debates Local Post Office and Court Policy
The Greenbushes Traders Association met on the 7th with Edwards, Gibney, Fontanella, Clayton, Gray, Wague and Gallagher present. Discussions covered a train service change, a letter-writing push to open the local post office for 45 minutes daily, and a Local Court decision on an omission of a penalty for non payment. Members urged adherence to Clause 130 on contempt of court and noted the need for another local justice of the peace. The association pledged efforts to install electric light in the town.
