Fund Raising Drive For Boy Scouts Kickoff Breakfast
Local friends of the Boy Scout movement held a seven o'clock breakfast at the Price Cafe to launch a voluntary fund raising drive. H O Hovland, drive chairman, introduced Horton Bolin who detailed council needs and the goal of expanding scouting with about 1500 more boys eligible this year. A Thursday afternoon demonstration at Ralph Stenerson’s farm southeast of town featured Jensvold’s THC three-furrow disk plow. The unit is close coupled with hydraulic power, easy depth and width adjustments, and automatic rear steering for contour plowing.
