A sustained social scene includes dances, buggy rides, and numerous home visits, plus three houses for sale at low prices with incentives.
Unseasonably cold and dry weather plagued Iowa last week with brisk northwest winds frosts and occasional snow hurries. Temperatures ran below normal daily, stopping crops and delaying growth though ground work for corn progressed. Fruit damage varied by region with heavy losses in the south and center but minor impact in the north. all small grains pastures and meadows are in good condition.
