The Winnebago County Dairy Products Improvement Association awarded certificates to Buffalo Center Coop patrons for delivering clean sweet cream in 1947. Donna Hermanson of Scarville and Dennis Holland of Thompson are named as Winnebago County candidates for the Iowa Farm Bureau Scholarship. Eighteen two year scholarships will be awarded statewide to rural youths aiming to teach in rural areas. The selection was made by the scholarship committee in Forest City.
