Grace Bosma aged 106 of Buffalo Center died March 8 2016 at Timely Mission Nursing Home. Funeral services were held March 12 at First Congregational Church with burial in Graceland Cemetery. She married Thomas Bosma in 1928 and farmed near Buffalo Center. Survived by three sons and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Winter Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Dean K Farland 1928 2016 dies after illness in Iowa
Dean Kermit Farland 87 of Thompson Iowa died March 7 2016 at his rural Thompson home after a long pulmonary fibrosis battle. Funeral March 12 at Bethany Lutheran Church Thompson burial Rose Hill Cemetery. He farmed near Thompson for 68 years, loved family coffee trips and water skiing, and served in church and local boards. He is survived by Ruby his wife of 69 years six children 11 grandchildren six great grandchildren and many relatives. Funeral home Mittelstadt assisted.
