Nebago Post No 21 of the Legion held its 18th Annual Five Night party at the City Hall on February 22 with 200 men attending. Francis Berhow opened the evening with piano selections, Tommy Snell displayed local talent, and A G Porter spoke on national topics. Posts leaders and guests, including Joe Graham and ay Murray, shared talks on George region and Americanism. The night closed with Swede song, lunch, cigars, and gifts. Appreciation expressed for sponsors and helpers, and reminder of next meeting.

Larson Couple Celebrate 30th Wedding Anniversary
Mrs Joseph Larson and family hosted a surprise 30th wedding anniversary for Mr and Mrs Larson with Lutheran Congregation members attending. A green centerpiece and snapdragon bouquet decorated the table, a mixed color floral display attracted guests, and newlyweds were showcased with many gifts. A bountiful dinner followed as townsfolk and kin shared best wishes and photos.

Buffalo Center high school cagers play in the Town State Sectional Tournament at Lake Mills tonight at 8 10 pm meeting the Lake Mills Thompson winner from last night Other Class A teams also compete at Forest City Swea City and Titonka. The Bisons, Nebo County Class A and B champions, lost 30 to 31 to Ledyard last Friday with only one regular in uniform.
