Farewell for Rev and Mrs Peterson by Buffalo Center ministers

Ministers of the Buffalo Center Ministerial Association and their wives hosted a Sunday luncheon at the Congregational parsonage at 4:00 PM. Rev W G Gerthe, president, presented Rev and Mrs Peterson with a group gift as a farewell celebration and fellowship.

Dohlman Family Reunion Held at Blue Earth

The Dobiniari reunion gathered over 100 relatives in Blue Earth Minnesota last Sunday June 26. Attendees traveled from Mason City Clear Lake Swaledale Joice Rake Cedar Falls Wellsburg Aplington Parkersburg Portland Rockwell Fayette Geneva Sheffield Hartwick Magnolia Mankato Minneapolis Ves ta Lucan and other nearby towns. Henry Dohlman, 85, is the sole surviving sibling with 20 great grandchildren, 17 of whom joined the picnic. A reunion date was set for June 24 1956 at East Park Mason City. Markley Renken and Mrs Bill Dicke completed terms as president and secretary treasurer. John J Ennen and Mrs George Dohlman were elected to two year terms as officers.

Hauskins Family Reunion Held Here Sunday

Forty five relatives gathered at the Adrian Hauskins home Sunday for a Hauskins family reunion. Attendees included Reuben Haroldson, Anna Hauskins of Rembrandt, Chas Moser of Madison Lake Minnesota, Dean Nerdig and family of Forest City, Ray Aakes and family of Thompson, Martin Thompson and Arlan Hauskins and family of Elmore Minnesota, Frederika Frandle Ordale and Roneld of Rake, June Nelson, Shirley Hauskins and Janet Palmer of Des Moines, and John Krull and family. The visit honored Mr and Mrs M J Hauskins and Janet visiting from Portland Oregon.

Relatives of Mrs. 0. J. Teig enjoyed a family gathering and picnic at the city park Saturday evening. Guests of honor included Janet of Portland Oregon. Two marriage licenses were issued in the office of Clerk of Courts. Lloyd Walter Ashe, 20, and Eleanor Schaeffer, 21. Roger Hodson, 20, and Helen I Jordahl, 17. Appointed administrators B O Lund of Bricelyn and A S Lund of Albert Lea were named in the estate of Betsy A Lund, deceased, with a bond of $1000.

Marvin Heyes Weds Delavan Minnesota Girl

Beverly Miller and Marvin Heyes wed in Delavan Minnesota at the Methodist church in a candlelit double ring ceremony. 200 relatives and friends attended with Vanetta Routier at the organ and soloist Mary Andrews performing. Bridesmaids and grooms party included Marilyn Miller and Mary Ellen Heyes with a reception at the Delavan school dining hall.
