Tornado Strikes Fargo North Dakota hits area pastors home
Anxious listeners heard broadcasts about a vicious Fargo tornado last week striking the area where Pastor and Mrs. Mathre of Bethlehem Lutheran Church lived before moving to Buffalo Center. About 500 homes were demolished, many former parishioners affected, neighbors hospitalized. two Lutheran Churches destroyed, though Pastor Mathre’s downtown church escaped serious damage.
