Trading stamps survey shows income gaps and mixed views
A nationwide market research survey of 59,900 U.S. households finds 72 percent of low income under $5,000 saved trading stamps and 67 percent liked them, while eight percent favor abolition. In the $10,000 bracket 37 percent save and 52 percent like them with eight percent supporting abolition. An unexpected note: lower income groups show the smallest trading stamp usage.
