Archer Fish Uses Water Gun to Snare Prey
The archer fish of Southeast Asia uses a tube-like mouth to project a jet of water at insects resting above. It prepares quietly, then shoots a tiny jet that wets the prey and makes it fall, allowing the fish to gulp it up. The jet is only a couple of drops but can carry force.
