Beginning Quilting and Swimming Classes and Retirement Reception
The Heartwarmer's Quilt Guild offers Beginning Quilting Classes starting June 18 from 6 to 8 pm every Wednesday for about three to four weeks at a $5 per session fee. Red Cross swimming lessons run June 23 to July 3 at Buffalo Center Pool, $15 for two weeks. FC Coop retirement reception honors Lyle Wirtjes and Scott Swenson on June 20 from 10 am to 2 pm. Lyle has 45 years and Scott 41 with FC Coop.

Fight against cancer kicks off Slow-pitch season in Buffalo Center
North Iowa Betterment's summer slow-pitch softball began Sunday in Buffalo Center at Lion's Park. Eight teams play Sundays from June 8 to July 13 with games 4 to 7 pm. The season concludes with a tournament on July 13.

Council talks stop signs unkempt properties
