Rex from Minnesota College discussed grain versus pasture finishing, while Beresford and Wallace emphasized low winter costs and pasture use. Harold Howe's 70 head finished herd near Eden showcased margins, with Angus and Hereford calves averaging around 1,300 pounds, underscoring a shift toward cost efficiency over rising markets.
