Local Legion auxiliary aeroplane contest honors Lakota youth
The American Legion auxiliary hosted a model aeroplane contest with six local entrants. Thomas Lewis, 13, Lakota, won first prize a $5 award for a cabin monoplane praised as nearly perfect. Herbert Winter and Dallas Leigertman shared second and third prizes. The event drew 50 members and featured remarks by Nels Malm and Wendell Osbrink about local Legion activities and the Forest City Diamond Jubilee plan.

Eight Years of Illness Ended by Konjola
Mrs. 7. 2B. Van Alst of Cedar Rapids says eight years of kidney weakness and chronic constipation ended after taking Konjola. She reports relief from headaches dizziness and other symptoms after four to eight weeks and notes her sister also improved. Konjola is sold in Buffalo Center Iowa at Sneliz drug store and by regional druggists.
