Martin Luther and the Methodist Church
England faced godlessness and unrest as the French Revolution loomed. John Wesley, aboard a 1738 voyage, witnessed Moravian calm, heard Luther’s Romans note, and felt his heart warmed by faith. Wesley’s street preaching sparked revival and began the Methodist movement. Copies of Luther’s Introaction to Romans were handed out at a Buffalo Center crusade. First Baptist invites readers to request one.
