Many Events Scheduled For Sports Festival
The Winnebago Farm Bureau Sports Festival committee plans a large program with numerous contests led by J A Livercn Buffalo Center chair and Glyn Johnson Woden. Cairns of Wilson and Co. will place livestock at the 1947 Winnebago County Junior Show to be held in Thompson on August 15 and 16. 4-H Building Fund Receives Last Week Payments
Contributions to the Winnebago County Junior Shaw Fund slowed with only two solicitor reports. Eden township sent in 76 dollars and Lincoln township 45 dollars, bringing the total to 4,918.50. Buffalo and Eden townships each exceed 1,000 dollars, Lincoln over 900. Ironing with a new electric iron sold at John and Jerry's Buffalo Center.
