New OHV registration moves to unified system trail pass added
The new system combines OHV registration title and decal into one document with extra owner details. Renewals in 2013 require county recorder visits during the transition and a $17.75 trail pass for snowmobiles and nonresident OHV riders on public lands. Passes are sold at local agents. 2012 passes valid until December 31. Gov Branstad signed the trail pass into law in 2012.
