American Legion Events Offer Waffles Bake Sale and Soup Supper
The American Legion invites the public to a Dad's Belgian Waffles breakfast on Sunday March 3 from 10 30 am to 1 pm at the Buffalo Center Fire Station with a $7 per person fee and free for kids five and under plus carry out. A bake sale accompanies the event and proceeds go to Mosaic in Forest City and Exceptional Opportunities in Burt. The annual Men's Soup Supper is Monday March 4 from 4 30 to 7 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church featuring chili and oyster stew with pie and free will offerings. Proceeds support local charities with supplemental funds from Thrivent Financial.
