Miss Marilyn Luckow and Merlin Loge wed in Elmore Minnesota with Rev Jacobson officiating at the doubles ceremony. The bride wore a white tulle gown with Chantilly lace and carried white roses, with sisters Carole Luckow and Gloria Zufall as attendants. Final Rites For Lewis T. Ohnstad Held Friday
Funeral services for Lewis T. Ohnstad, longtime Buffalo Center resident and early settler, were conducted Friday February 16, 1935 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. L. G. Mature presiding. Interment followed at West Zion Cemetery in Rake. pallbearers were John Dolen Ed Olson Carl Skilbred Larry Smith John Larson and Louis Jensen. Born January 30, 1870 in Freeborn County Minnesota, he moved with his parents to a farm near Hartland and later to a quarter-section site now Stevens Iowa. He retired about 30 years ago and lived with sisters Caroline Dolen and Louise Ohnstad before moving to the Good Samaritan Home in Mason City where he died February 16 1955 at age 85. Survived by three sisters and three brothers, with out-of-town relatives Miss Murrie Hauge Lenora Hauge. Weather kept many from attending.

Paul Winter installed new fluorescent lights in Bennett Bruhns Milling Co office and John Winter to paint ceilings and side walls. Ben hopes to install new front when weather warms. Roy B Johnson paints floors at his store and hatchery French gray. City Hall rest rooms undergoing changes with two new rooms off the north hall to the library. New plumbing installed improving civic facilities.
