Buffalo Center School Notes Highlights Across Grades

Observed Golden Wedding at Elmore
Mr and Mrs Martin Thompson of Elmore celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their Elmore Minnesota home on January 15. Guests included many relatives and friends from Elmore Winnebago Mankato Albert Lea Bricelyn Blue Earth Frost Wells Waterloo Des Moines Iowa. The couple have two daughters Mys Groyd Lage Berdine of Bricelyn and Mrs Adrian Hauskins Etta of Buffalo Center Iowa and three sons Marvin Albert Lea Hervie Waterloo and Milford Winnebago. They have 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Herb Ohrt, president of the Winnebago Council, announced the Executive Board has employed Donald R. Smith of Joplin Missouri as Field Executive serving Franklin Wright Hancock and Winnebago Counties. He will move March 1 and succeeds Darwyn A. Van Gorp who transferred to the Tall Corn Area Council last fall.
