Iowa State offers two $300 Federal Land Bank scholarships
Two $300 Federal Land Bank scholarships will be awarded again to high school seniors enrolling in the Division of Agriculture at Iowa State College this fall. Sponsored by 68 Iowa National Farm Loan Associations and the Federal Land Bank of Omaha, the program aims to encourage outstanding students to pursue agriculture. Applications are available through teachers, extension directors, superintendents, or local offices and must be submitted to Iowa State College before April 10, 1956.

Hog market settles to trading basis after sharp rise
