New Ulm Man Buys Arrington Cleaning Plant
Robert M. Stonebraker of New Ulm Minnesota bought the Arrington Cleaners and took possession yesterday morning. He has five years in a New Ulm shop and earlier three years in Hampton Iowa. The Stonebrokers will move into the Arrington apartment. Don Arrington moves to Terrace Park Lake Okoboji in March to lead Laurens Manufacturing Company.

VFW Warriors Enter State Meet at Clear Lake High
The VFW team sponsored by Kingsbury-Jurgens Post No 4824 will compete in the state VFW tournament at Clear Lake High School gym March 11 and 12 under AAU rules. Eligible players must be VFW members in good standing. First second and third place trophies plus best sportsman and MVP awards are planned with $125 to the national basketball tournament in Mankato March 28 to April 1 and jackets for state champions.

Vasbinder Dies in Sleep at Buffalo Center
Wade J. Vasbinder 66 died of a heart attack in his Buffalo Center hotel room on February 13 1950 after a day noting pleurisy pains. A former professional baseball player later ran The Ice Cream Parlor in Buffalo Center with wife Florence Potter Vasbinder. Survived by wife Florence son Wade Waskinder Mason City daughters Wilbur Hill Manly and Mrs Walter DeMoss Shenandoah three grandchildren and many friends. Services held at Schutter Son Funeral Home and at McAuley Son Funeral Home with interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
