Veterans To Receive $19,000 Share In County Payouts
About 150 Winnebago County veterans will receive roughly 19 000 each as dividends from GI insurance policies part of a 335.6 million national distribution by the Veterans Administration. World War II veterans predominate among recipients. World War I and Korean War vets also participate. Checks vary by policy type and age and go out on policy anniversary dates with no applications needed.

Donations Drive Nears March Deadline For Grass Area
