C Buseman Recovers After Arm Break in Accident
C Buseman suffered a broken left arm from a fall while returning home from church Sunday. He was taken to Buffalo Medical Hospital where the arm was set, and by Tuesday morning he was reported to be getting along and not in serious condition.

Fire at Smoley Home Sparks Wall Damage
Firemen called to the Ray Smoley residence around noon on Wednesday February 3 found a blaze ignited by an electric heat bulb under the sink. Heat from the bulb scorched wallpaper and wall covering above and below the sink before Buffalo Center firefighters extinguished the fire. caused by heating water pipes to prevent freezing.
