Niehuis, German-born resident, dies at 77 in Webster City
Niehuis was born in Germany on February 28, 1862 and moved to Buck Grundy County Iowa in 1869 with his parents. He lived in Pleasant Township, Parkersburg, Austin Minnesota, and Webster City, joining the Baptist church in 1919. He died January 19 at Webster City, aged 77 years 1 month 29 days, survived by wife, two sons Ole and Nichuis, two daughters Ella Ot and Grace Nichuis, plus a sister and adopted son Fred. Burial was at View Cemetery after services at Ablington Baptist Church.
