Buffalo Center audit finds no improprieties and solid finances
City of Buffalo Center received a positive audit report from CPA Larry Pump of Charles City after reviewing the year ending June 30 2016. He told the City Council on December 14 that fund balances are healthy though the general fund should aim for about $100000. Receipts totaled 1961812 with dollars from property taxes charges for service operating grants and capital grants. Pump urged a disaster recovery plan and noted duties segregation is challenging with a small staff.
