Education survey predicts doubled college enrollment by 15 years
Iowa educators project on campus enrollment reaching 175000 statewide in 15 years with post high school spending rising to about 850 million dollars. They assume adults will join extensions and private and public institutions will grow, while total higher education spending quadruples from current levels. An inspection proposal urges a statewide motor vehicle check with a 2 dollar fee, state and garage operator shares, but dealers argue for higher fees and state run facilities.
