Farmers Trust and Savings Bank of Buffalo Center and the State Bank of Bricelyn MN announce a definitive merger awaiting regulatory approval. The Heritage Town Center in Buffalo Center sponsors a December 31 8 pm to 1 am 70s themed New Year’s Eve fundraiser. Admission is a free will donation with tax-deductible checks to HTC. Event highlights include BCHS 70s composites, snacks, a best 70s outfit contest, and dance contests. kids are not invited.

The Buffalo Center Community Club named the top recipients in its 23rd annual Christmas Lighting Contest. Deloris Steffensen won first prize of 100 dollars from Farmers Trust and Savings Bank, Marlene Bruhns took second with 50 dollars from Murra Hardware, and Tim and Julie Weaver earned third place totaling 25 dollars from the Buffalo Center Community Club. Winners receive yard signs for display.
