More than seven hundred Farm Bureau members and families enjoyed a two day Achie vement Day and Picnic at Lake Mitts. Attendees praised the well planned program with gear for all, organized sports led by George Thomas of Center Township, and strong cooperation from the Lake Mills Commercial Club. Highlights included livestock exhibits, a large park venue, and speeches on community bonds by Mrs. Wm. War Bloom and Mrs. Van Bloom.
