Camera Club Meets at E B Sapp Home
The Camera Club gathered at Mr and Mrs E B Sapp home with five members and two guests. Mrs. Mary Friesenborg Dies at 75 in Thompson Area
Funeral services were held Monday August 6 at Schutter Funeral Home and First Congregational church for Mrs. Mary Friesenborg who died August 3 after reaching 75. Rev. David Farrington led. interment at Olena Mound. She leaves five children, six stepchildren, 26 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many relatives. Her long life began July 2, 1876 in Reinbeck Iowa and included extensive farming with her husband John Friesenborg before moving to Thompson and later Buffalo Center area.

A resident of Elmore suffered a severe electric shock while near a live 150 volt line. Lyle Eldridge Fire Chief led responders including LuVon Kuchenruether and H B Winter to the scene with an Inhalator. Harold Henderson provided artificial respiration. Irving Korhaus received treatment and was later hospitalized in Blue Earth, with a positive recovery update by midnight.
