J W Greer reports minimal cotton picking problems in a belt sixty miles inland from the gulf from Port Lavaca to Kingsville after a tropical hurricane. He notes Yoakum residents in Corpus Christi during the storm, fears 25 to 50 Yoakum deaths, and compares Beeville Odem and Linton damage to the 1915 Houston Galveston storm. Large Pecan Crop Seen From Concho Country

In San Angelo on September 22 1919 local dealers estimate the Concho country pecan crop will be the largest in fourteen years, worth over 120000 dollars. Forty cars are expected to be shipped from San Angelo with worms cited as the only potential damage before maturation. the last big crop was 1917 with 36 cars shipped. Since 1905 there have been just two failures, in 1908 and 1918.
