Two in One Family Die of Ptomaine

Luther I. Arnold died yesterday at his father F. Wm. Arnold's home four miles west of Wellborn. Burial was at Peach Creek cemetery. Born September 28, 1827, he had been married. He contracted ptomaine poisoning last Wednesday, when Miss Minnie Lee Greer, adopted daughter of his father, also fell ill and died. he died a few days later.

Negro Blames Drink for His Predicament

Ed Williams pleaded guilty in district court to burglary and was sentenced to two years in the penitentiary.
