Sixty Two Cadets Join Officers Corps at Leon Springs

Recruiting offices for the officers Reserve Corps training camp at Leon Springs opened at the A and M College. Captain C R Mueller and Lt W H Morris lead the effort with sixty two cadets among the sixty six trainees certified so far.

Woman Dies While Camping Near Navasota Texas

Mrs H W Farnsworth of Tyon Oklahoma died suddenly at midnight while camping with auto tourists three miles south of Navasota on the Navasota Houston road. Her body was shipped to her home Tuesday morning. The party also included her husband and Mr and Mrs Smith and Mr and Mrs Harnett all of Tyon. They were returning from Galveston.

Petrograd May 2 street disorders erupted with bombs in the capital. Major General Kashtalinski was killed as shots were fired on demonstrators. Clyde Tribble Shot Near Groesbeck Texas

Clyde Tribble was shot Sunday afternoon at Frosa about 14 miles west of Groesbeck. A 25 automatic pistol fired once to the neck, the bullet lodged in the body near the lungs. Bulin Pollard surrendered and was released on bond of 500 dollars by Justice William Kennedy to await the next grand jury. Cause of trouble unknown.
