The 85th District Court of Brazos County plans to close its February-March term on March 26 under District Judge W C Davis. Henry B. Terrell former State Senator from McLennan county died in San Antonio after a long illness. He served several terms in the legislature and was once mentioned as a gubernatorial candidate but ill health kept him from running. His body will be sent to Austin for burial.

Shoe Polishing Co Leases Plazek Building as Headquarters
The Bryan firm has leased the lower floor of the Elks Hall known as the Plazek building and is converting it into its permanent headquarters after a $75,000 Austin charter. Railroad Official Found Dead on Train
Galveston report says A. C. Torbert secretary treasurer of Gulf Colorado and Santa Fe Railway was found dead in a berth aboard a Santa Fe train. He had been in Fort Worth on company business and was en route home to Galveston when he asked the porter to wake him before reaching Houston. Torbert served with the Santa Fe for over thirty years.
