Steep Hollow Honors Five Heroes at Memorial Service

The Steep Hollow Memorial Service and Reunion on Sunday drew about fifteen hundred attendees from Brazos County and beyond. The event featured an unveiling of Steep Hollow's Five Stars of Gold on the honor roll, a memorial address by Judge W. C. Davis of Bryan, a solo by E. A. Peters, and a large community dinner under the oaks. Grandma Vandiver, 102, attended the day-long event with other veterans and residents reminiscing about Steep Hollow’s past, present, and future.
