Austin Texas January 12 A bill to give 4000 to Ben Perry a Black man who served eight years in prison and was freed when another Black man Brown confessed to the crime would be introduced in the Texas House by Representative John Davis of Dallas Davis called the act a simple justice and said he did not know Perry Perry was convicted in Brazos County and imprisoned in the penitentiary from Bryan after Brown confessed to the crime.
