Whites Surrender After Harrison Killing in Grimes County

Horace and Ollie White surrendered to the Grimes County sheriff at Anderson after information from Bedias and Madisonville. The shooting killed Dr. Bev Harrison, a wealthy 32nd degree Mason. The whites, aged 35 and 40, stood accused as the doctor’s funeral was held at Bedias. The examining trial is set for Friday with Judge W B Hudson aiding prosecution.
