Mill Property Sold to H T Lawler Sr by Power Co

The Bryan Power Company conveyed the flour mill adjoining the city power plant and its machinery to H. T. Lawler, Sr for $9,000. The mill has not operated recently but the machinery is described as modern and may be readied for use soon. The land was conveyed to the power company by the city of Bryan.

Texans of Eleventh District Form Export Finance Plan

Sixty delegates from across the Eleventh District convened in Dallas to form an export finance corporation under the Edge bill to stabilize foreign exchange and aid cotton trade.
