Aggies and Mustangs May Not Resume Grid Rivalry in 1935
Aggieland athletic council states the Texas A and M and Southern Methodist University gridiron relations will not resume in 1935. SMU plans a November 9 game with UCLA, and a proposed December 7 date from SMU was rejected. The open date on SMU’s schedule makes an annual clash unlikely, and last year’s Missouri State game was cited as a poor post season arrangement influencing the decision.
