O S Johnson, Brazos county native, trained at Southern College of Pharmacy in Atlanta, Ga. He worked in Troy Alabama for experience, then Navasota and Houston before helping run George Smith’s Bryan drug store from 1906. Witness denies fixed game bet by Ty and Tris in Detroit

Officers Take G. J. Hassell To Another Jail

George Jassell, who confessed to killing 13, was moved from Farwell jail by a heavily armed group of officers to an undisclosed destination. Officials reported no mob violence but crowds gathered, while reports from Lubbock claimed Hassell was later held in Hale County jail about 50 miles away.

American steamer Astoria sinks in Black Sea
