George A. Adams of Bryan reports the death of his brother Will Sanders Adams in San Antonio on Saturday night. Born May 5 1870 in Bryan, he was son of Captain and Mrs J Adams. Mrs W M Sherrill wife of the late Wm Sherrill died at the Hall home in Steep Hollow on December 16 1920 at 8 30 pm She was born August 24 1888 in Rock Creek Township Ind and lived in Burleson County Texas She Leaves three sons John W Sherrill Dr C A Sherin E A Sherrill one daughter Mrs T P Hall and many grandchildren and great grandchildren The remains went to Cook s Point for burial at Mosley Cemetery with Rev Punkel conducting services

John C. Vick of this city killed a big buck while duck hunting below Millican. The deer reportedly weighed 200 pounds and had eleven prongs. Vick notes many deer in the area.

A large farm house on the George Graham plantation in Bethel near Harvey belonging to Carl Morgan and family and W. Weeden was burned this morning. The house and contents are a total loss and insurance status is unknown.

The First Methodist Sunday school in Waco held its annual Christmas offering for orphans during the regular class hour. A program followed with songs, readings, and a tree gift display by children to help the Waco Home, led by Rev. E W Tarrant and Miriam Crute.

Oaks Tex trader 0 P Seeman visited town to buy the local store for himself and his father Gus Seeman. The outlet sits about twelve miles from Bryan between Tabor and Kurten. It was once run by Geo P Edge and later Will Cross, but the business has been closed two years due to poor crops.
