Clash in Manchuria Reported Japanese Provoked Fight

The official Chinese government report on the July 19 clash in Manchuria says Japanese forces provoked the engagement. It records 18 Japanese killed and 17 wounded, 12 Chinese killed and 14 wounded, with about 100 Chinese soldiers missing, believed to have fled.
