Peop les Column on the Extension Service Gospel
The piece laments the Extension Service as a misused teaching tool exploited by Business Mammon. It contrasts the true mission of aiding farmers with a corrupt shift toward agrarian and commercial interests, calling for the reform of the service to serve agriculture rather than profits. It imagines two maidens representing Faustian and Delilah tensions, urging redemption of the Extension Service for Texas counties.
