Talbott McDonald, a 33 year old chemist from England, killed his wife Mme. Bessie McDonald in their 825 Beech avenue residence after a dispute over a shirt package. He then drank laudanum and was found by Peter Dow before being arrested. The couple's eight year old stepson witnessed the attack.
