Bryan residents gathered at Carnegie Hall to organize a Golf Club with Prof M L Massingill elected temporary chairman and Miss Malcolm McInnis as temporary secretary. A constitution and by laws committee led by Prof H W South and a grounds and course committee led by Prof R O Allen were named, with a follow up meeting scheduled for Friday at 8 15 p m to finalize the organization and elect officers. The club has enrolled about thirty members and expects more.

The manufacturing firms remain solvent and Union Switch and Signal unaffected. Westinghouse Air Brake notes the move follows a Pittsburg Clearing House request. Bankers see the crisis as a liquidity squeeze with potential losses in the millions.
