Daily Eagle notes and political quips from a bygone issue
The Daily Eagle column comments on entering mail matter status, Bryan’s unacknowledged plea, social fashion absurdities, and local incidents. It cites the San Antonio fair roper J. H. Gardner's time, Hempstead pole incidents, and jokes on voting, coal bribes, and Massachusetts politics. It also mentions the settled coal strike and a Palestine correspondent on the Lewis wreck tying to I. & G. N. safety record.
