She seeks $900 in damages and notes her age is six and the pension could have continued for about ten years of marriage.
Seven civil actions filed in U S district court challenge the estate and bondsmen of John M Finks longtime federal clerk. The United States seeks repayment of a large number of small items of costs and fees collected from attorneys and litigants in excess of court costs. District court suits total 2691.88 dollars and circuit court suits total 28675.04 dollars.

Christie Strang nephew of Walter Christie lowered the world automobile record for a circular track in Birmingham on Oct 17 covering the distance in 52.5 seconds. The elder Christie had set the prior record of 52 seconds at Minneapolis on Sept 10, with the feat highlighted on the Alabama State fair closing day.
